Regarding graphics mods, most of them aren't updated for 1.9 yet.
I can see Distant Objects Enhancement Continued, but I think that's about it from the common ones.
If you absolutely want to play with visual mods, you are better off returning to 1.8.1 for now. Else you'll have to make do with stock graphics for now.
